This story is about an experience i had with my cousins one summer in western pennsylvania where my grandmother would tell ghost stories that could scare the hair off a rat

You've got a good storytelling style. Good luck!

Kimberly, you have a gorgeous voice and a really nice way with a story. My only quibble is that you seem to be trying just 5% too hard to "massage" your delivery -- some of those little pauses etc. sound slightly affected. But I'm confident that in a real show and with a chance to relax and settle in, you'd be terrific.

I think there is something very special here. Kimberly's delivery has a 'cool brio', a kind of 'solid elan' that makes it unusually distinctive. Very effective.

Kimberely, you have, without a doubt, the remarkable and memorable voice of a professional radio host. You are an extremely gifted story teller, drawing the listener into the world that you create with your words, your unique musical vocal cadence and that " one in a million" voice!

Kimberly, I am breathless over how effectively you've created a complete world in which I was immersed for two full minutes. I saw those pennies, I felt the thunder, I could hear your grandmother's voice - and I enjoyed your own. As a storyteller and as a radio host, you have what it takes to move onto Round Two. I hope to hear much more from you.
