These promos encourage listeners to vote on entries - good for after the initial call for entries is closed.

These promos mention the address of the Talent Quest website. For promos without the address mentioned, you'll need to make sure you say it yourself.

These promos direct you to click a particular button. They may not be as suitable for on-air use as they are for our website, but you're welcome to use them anyway if you like.

Spot 5 (01:00)

"Thanks for checking out the Public Radio Talent Quest. This is [name], and I want to know who you want to hear on the radio. That's right, we're asking you. Hundreds of people have sent in tapes; now you decide who's great. The Public Radio Talent Quest wants to find radio hosts who are engaging and smart. What we're really looking for is 'hostiness' - that rare person who pulls you into the radio, connected and close. This is the first time public radio has asked the audience to do something like this, and we trust you'll tell us who you want to hear more from and who should stay away from microphones. The contest is real; three winners get cash and the chance to make their own show. A team of radio pros - and you - will pick the winners. You know what they say about what happens when you don't vote. Raise your voice and tell us who you want to hear on the radio. Click the 'Listen and Vote' button now."
