Wondrous Strange
This is a natural-history based program exploring remarkable and little-known dramas occurring on the planet. Each episode includes an interview with field scientists. Although the underlying message is one of conservation, the focus would be a celebration of the diversity of life on earth.
but hey, maybe I am biased because I have a degree in ecology! hahah
No, seriously, good topic, good production.

I'm just back after a week-end camping, and of course the voting is over. Usually when someone leaves me such a nice comment, I immediately tune into her/his entry, to see who this kind person is. Well, luckily, I knew I had already listened to you and gave you five stars. Although the decision has already been made, I wish you the best. You have a good voice and are a great writer.
I'm really glad I got around to listening to yours!

The 100-foot circle is an idea I'm glad to have. Along with the animal noises it made a very interesting picture in my head. thanks
Thanks so much for your kind comment. I've often thought about how cool it would be to learn all the flora and fauna in one square mile, but the 100 foot circle is both challenging and do-able- you' need a good bug person to help you though...
Thanks again,
Rebecca
what a cool idea, to answer the call of a beat poet and talk about the natural world in this post-industrial time. good luck!

A first kiss, a dental emergency, identifying the Big Man on Campus and talking back to Punky Brewster.
Your comments are thoughtful and warm. I thank you for commenting on my audition, but also for your post "I found a DIAMOND!" I would have missed an important story and great audio. It would be so nice to have your energy and spirit out on the airwaves for all to hear.

I, obviously, can only agree.
And so does John James Audubon:
"Where is the person, I ask, who on observing this glittering fragment of the rainbow, would not pause, admire and turn his mind with reverence?"
Thanks for listening to my entry.
It's suddenly so obvious it makes me wonder why it hasn't already been done. Bring it on!
I like it.
Yes, the Rufous Hummer journey is wondrous, but you should hear some of the strange stories I have up my sleeve. Thanks for your kind comments!

Hi Chad,
Thanks for listening to my piece and for your kind comments. I immediately listened to you. Wow, jump right in and cover a gutsy topic. I liked it a lot!

"A celebration of the diversity of life on Earth."
This is something badly needed. Well done.
Hey Pyroclast! I'm happy to hear from a kindred spirit. I believe we Arizonans live much more in the natural world than many people...
Thanks again,
Rebecca
This sounds like a great program! I'm already hooked.
Nice use of Shakespeare's term "wondrous strange" and fascinating content, can't wait for next week's episode!
