Bio: When I'm not interning at PRX, I work in educational media and singlehandedly keep the American instant oatmeal industry afloat.
What's your secret talent?: I'm synesthetic (ok, not exactly a talent, but kinda cool). When I see numbers, I hear musical pitches. 4 is middle C, in case you were wondering.
What song is stuck in your head right now, you know, a music wedgie?: "Fidelity" by Regina Spektor. I've only heard it twice, but oh my LORD is it catchy.
What sound is most characteristic of where you live?: The chirping noise that comes out of the Harvard Square stoplights.
What's your favorite sound memory?: The sound of the beautiful grand piano in the big music store downtown. I'd practice a piece for weeks on our trusty but cruddy piano at home, and then my dad would take me down to play it on the shiny 9-foot Steinway as a reward for having learned it.
