What's your favorite public radio show?: This American Life and Diane Rehm make my days fabulous (and relatively well informed)!
What song is stuck in your head right now, you know, a music wedgie?: Gillian Welch gets perpetually stuck in my head, especially her song "Elvis Presley Blues." Although, my most recurrent stuck-in-my-head song in terms of years is actually a jingle from Sesame Street. You know the one, it goes "one, two, three, four, five, sixseveneightnineten, eleven-twelve." Damn, that thing is catchy.
What sound is most characteristic of where you live?: I'm torn, its either the last of the boxcars chugging down seldom used railroad tracks or the sometimes unnerving squeal of bagpipes. I have a neighbor who likes to practice on his front porch.
Which station do you listen to most?: WFDD!
