I love talking. I love talking on air and public speaking, no fear no nervousness. What I enjoy most about talking is assisting people in overcoming personal obstacles in order to know and acheive thier dreams. I'd like to do a radio piece on how badly kids are taught self-esteem and how to learn this as an adult. I think of myself as a bridge builder; from what's not working to what does and then go for it. I am very sarcastic and that sometimes gets my in trouble because people think I am being mean. But really I just want to have fun and take life way less seriously. People act like they are too poor to pay attention to the fact that if they are smiling then most things are easy and effortless. Easy and effortless almost without even trying, yeah.. that's it.

What's your favorite public radio show?

My favorite shows are all from public radio. Democracy Now!, Hip-hop shows, A Praire Home Companion, eclectic music with lots of beats and complicated tracks on 91.3 KBCS.

What's your secret talent?

My secrect talent wouldn't be secret if I told you! But I am really successful at getting people to see that how and what they are thinking is the root of their pain and pleasure. And it is usually a good time doing it.

What song is stuck in your head right now, you know, a music wedgie?

"Rise up oh my soul" and "I have the Joy down in my heart". (two songs my daughter sang in her choir)

What sound is most characteristic of where you live?

Rushing traffic, music and lots of talking.

What's your favorite sound memory?

My Nona's voice singing and talking to me and my family. I can hear her saying, "Now, Becki..."
