Bio

I am a 45 year old woman, born in Louisiana and raised all over as a military kid. I love music, art, gardening, and exploring my spiritual and empowered self. I see life as a blessing and I love discovering the common thread that binds us all no matter where we live or how we were raised. I live with my life parter (Kevin) and my canine best friend of 20 years (Killer) and I make my money through investing and consulting.

What's your favorite public radio show?

How could I just have one? My two favorites are All Things Considered and Market Place. Ok, Ok, also the Prairie Home Companion...

What's your secret talent?

I can hula and I am a Celtic psychic.

What song is stuck in your head right now, you know, a music wedgie?

"Downtown" by Petula Clark---okay, I confess, I have been a karaoke host (and I loved it) and many totally cheezy and fun songs get stuck in my head quite often...this one would be the latest. :-)

What sound is most characteristic of where you live?

Birds singing---I have a wonderful, large, bountifully green backyard and huge trees lining the street in front of my house.

What's your favorite sound memory?

The double bark of joy my little dog yelped out when he was particularly psyched about his walk in the woods. It makes me laugh and reminds me of the deep devotion and love that we can all have by sharing our time with others (both human and not)
