Bio: Liberal New Yorker who loves learning, animals, stoop sales and the good fight.
What's your favorite public radio show?: Why choose? I just like the fact that public radio exists. Makes it seem like we're in a democracy, don't you think?
What's your secret talent?: Hmmm.... You'll have to imagine.
What song is stuck in your head right now, you know, a music wedgie?: Good question. I wish it were by Mozart, as I suspect he would find the idea of a music wedgie amusing, but it's actually "Eight Days A Week." Perhaps The Beatles would have found the idea funny too.
What sound is most characteristic of where you live?: Birds, breezes, kids playing and the occasional car, punctuated by church bells. Of course we sometimes get the midnight garbage truck.
What's your favorite sound memory?: The first time my chorus performed Vivaldi's "Gloria" with such passionate conviction that our conductor was astonished and my mother cried.
Which station do you listen to most?: NPR, of course!
