I work for the Public Radio Exchange and Talent Quest as site editor and member support.

In previous lives, I've garnished noodle dishes, worked behind a jewelry counter, sold one-dollar movie tickets, produced a podcast for alt.NPR, sent press kits for the circus, played editor-in-chief for a literary magazine, and have been directly responsible for some bad espresso beverages (was fired).

What's your favorite public radio show?

Wiretap.

What's your secret talent?

Summoning the bees.

What sound is most characteristic of where you live?

I have never seen a single episode of "Lost," but have some episodes audibly memorized; I overhear them from my roommate's television and DVD player. Last night, for example, someone got shot (again?). I think it was that woman cop. Watch out for that.

What's your favorite sound memory?

My grandpa feeding ducks on the lake, going "duckduckduck!"
