I worked as a journalist for seven years in Connecitut, where I was nominated for the Pulitizer Prize by my paper for my first-person series on my bout with testicular cancer.
My other dead-end jobs include, working in a wearhouse, cleaning toilets, painting dormitories and industrial equipment, surf shop employee, Wine-tasting room supervisor, a cubicle wonk for Manufacturers Hanover Trust, and a brief but futile stint in advertising for Macy's as well as Bloomingdale's in NYC.
I'm working on a new novel and looking to host a radio show that will let me do my unique form of humor and observations.
I have survived from testicular cancer. I had the disease at age 28. I vowed to quit my job as a journalist, move to California, surf, do stand-up comedy, write books, and go to Australia (See Aussie is the only thing I didn't do.)
I graduated from Antioch College with a literature and theater degree.
