Steve Charney is a family entertainer,
magician,ventriloquist,songwriter, children’s author, recording artist and all-around nut. He and his dummy Harry have performed at festivals, theaters, schools, libraries, be-ins and meetings of the trilateral commission. Their off beat comedy and verbal mayhem have caused families to shake with laughter for over 25 years.
Steve has also written dozens of songs for ““Bear in the Big Blue House”” a Jim Henson TV
show that has aired internationally and his books, CD's and DVD's have been published by Scholastic, Troll, Metacom, Crown, Meadowbrook,Sterling publishing and Disney.

Harry, Steve’s dummy, has been getting on people’s nerves for over 25 years and yet, by his own estimates he’s only 8. His ability to make kids and adults laugh is the only reason why Steve keeps him around. His hobbies include questioning authority,
disorganized rebellion and whittling. He prefers to be called a wooden american

What's your secret talent?

Steve learned how to play Flamenco guitar from his father. Few people know this.
Harry's secret talent is being able to talk without the help of his ventriloquist
