Bio: Mr. Rogers meets Jack Black?
I'm a Montessori teacher of children 18 months-3 yrs. I live in Austin ,Tx so that also means I'm a musician. I sing in an amazing choir-Conspirare- and play in a great band called the Missing Tapes. I hate pina coladas but love getting caught in the rain.
What's your favorite public radio show?: Fresh Air! Terri is the best out there. I also like Mark Shapiro's "What makes it great" series. I love shows that have interviews with artists were they talk about the creative process.
What's your secret talent?: I share most of my talents. I guess.. naming that tune..sometimes I can get a song in 2 notes.
What song is stuck in your head right now, you know, a music wedgie?: A really stupid song by Eddie Murphy called" Put the Boogie in Your Butt". I listened and laughed to it so much as a kid It's permantly playing in one axon of my brain.
What sound is most characteristic of where you live?: Me and my wife jamming
What's your favorite sound memory?: What a great question..The sound of my father whistling. He was my 7th grade principal and would constantly whistle or sing as he walked the school halls.
