Bio: I've been a part-time public radio announcer/producer/host for years in various capacities. Most of those years I've taught public school full time, so only so much time and energy left over. I've had one piece on M.E., licensed one through PRX, and worked for many years at KIOS-FM in Omaha in various positions. I LOVE public radio. It's actually my calling, I think.
What's your favorite public radio show?: "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me" followed by Fresh Air and then ME/ATC and Marketplace (can I give 5 favorites?)
What's your secret talent?: I'm a fair video editor if I can use Final Cut Pro. Not a bad guitar player, too.
What song is stuck in your head right now, you know, a music wedgie?: Billy Joel's "I'm Moving Out" -- he was just here in concert.
What sound is most characteristic of where you live?: wind
What's your favorite sound memory?: hmm.... okay, self-centered I know, but probably the time I heard my own segment on Morning Edition a few years ago.
