I have been a packager of Mexican jumping beans, a hawker of slipper socks, an ice cream scooper, a tour guide across America and an educator at a science museum. Now I'm a writer and an exhibit developer; I am the content person on a team that creates museum exhibits for children's, science and history museum. Basically - I'm kind of a "dig deeper" dilettante.

Fresh Air, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, All Things Considered, This American Life (The "Fiasco" episode in particular. The "Fiasco" episode above all else. )
- What's your secret talent?
Reciting all 50 states in alphabetical order in under one minute.
- What sound is most characteristic of where you live?
The downstairs neighbors. The next door neighbors. The shopping cart being pushed down the street at 2am by the guy (the "shopping cart guy") collecting our recyclables. I live in a dense city - that's why I like it.

My dad singing American songs in his Polish accent. The front door closing at my childhood home. The official at the 2006 Torino Winter Olympics calling the start of the long track skating: Rrrreeeaaady. . . . .
