I can't believe I'm actually doing this, I SWORE I would never... Ah, never mind...

38 years old, married, three kids, currently doing computer consulting work in Farmburbia, IL. Former radio jock, talk and adult AC, small and medium markets, retired in 1993. My wife found the PRTQ online, essentially dared me to do it. So here I am!

What's your favorite public radio show?

Devoted listener to "All Things Considered," also will tune into "Eight Forty Eight" on Chicago Public Radio (produced locally), Click and Clack, and "What Do You Know" as I'm running errands on Saturday.

What's your secret talent?

Homer Simpson impressions.

What song is stuck in your head right now, you know, a music wedgie?

Bruce Cockburn, "When You Give It Away" off Breakfast in New Orleans...

What sound is most characteristic of where you live?

Traffic. There's a major street 50 yards from our back door. Also the whirr of the servers in my command center (MAJOR home computing nerd).

What's your favorite sound memory?

Call signs and bumpers from the radio stations I listened to when I grew up. CFRB, CFTR, CHUM in Toronto, WLS in Chicago. Floods the mind with memories.

Which station do you listen to most?

Chicago Public Radio --- No more commercial radio, I've seen how that sausage is made.
