I live near Annapolis Maryland, am married and have three children (high school to college age). I spent 10+ years as a Lutheran Pastor just outside of Lake Wobegon. (OK, the last part of that statement is not true, but there was a contingent of Lutherans in Tallahassee who listened every week).

Now I work in the newspaper business, on the circulation side. I spend a lot of time on the phone with dissatisfied customers (see secret talent).

What's your favorite public radio show?

I listen to Click and Clack for a laugh and All Things Considered for in depth coverage of various important topics.

What's your secret talent?

I am very good at listening to people to get them to tell about themselves. I also have a dry sense of humor. At times it is a great combination.

What song is stuck in your head right now, you know, a music wedgie?

You picked a fine time to leave me Lucille. {Please do not ask about that one!}

What sound is most characteristic of where you live?

Woodland creatures and, in the summer, power boats.

What's your favorite sound memory?

When any of my three children laugh. Not just a giggle or a snicker, but one of those from down in the belly, make your eyes water, roll on the ground laugh.

Which station do you listen to most?

WYPR in Baltimore and WAMU in DC (depending on reception and what is on at the time.)
