- Bio
I'm a book writer, specializing in topics from business, politics, and social issues. I've collaborated with a number of fascinating people, including Congressman Dick Gephardt, hotelier Jonathan Tisch, sustainability guru Andy Savitz, personal finance expert Alvin Hall, and management expert Adrian Slywotzky. I've edited books by former president Jimmy Carter, ambassador Richard Butler (who ran UNSCOM, the organization charged with disarming Saddam Hussein), and Abe Foxman of the ADL. Currently I'm working on a book with Muhammad Yunus, founder of Grameen Bank and winner of the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize. I have three kids, two grandkids, one beautiful and talented wife, and a baseball team that I follow passionately (NY Mets). To learn more, visit my blog at http://www.worldwidewebers.net.

Big fan of Brian Lehrer and Leonard Lopate on New York's WNYC. Also very fond of Garrison Keillor and the Car Talk guys.

I make excellent wheat-free pizza (using spelt flour) to please my wife's sensitive system and demanding taste buds.
- What song is stuck in your head right now, you know, a music wedgie?
Just happened to be listening to Elton John's Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, so I suppose that's the tune I'll be hearing for the next couple of hours.
- What sound is most characteristic of where you live?
A keyboard clacking, what else?!
- What's your favorite sound memory?
Lying on the hot sand on Marconi Beach in Cape Cod and listening, half-asleep, to the giant waves crashing . . .

- WNYC (New York)
