Born in Indianpolis so I have no southern accent unless it's required. Spent every May at the "500" and was amazed when I moved here that it just gets a blurb in the sports section. Currently freelance for the local paper, teach exercise classes at a resort, work in a womens boutique and dabble in theatre. Grew up with 3 brothers with a college professor as Dad, so am somewhat sarcastic but funny. Married for 21 years, two kids - 18 and 20. I play 3.0 tennis (but my middle name there is inconsistent)

What's your favorite public radio show?

Whad'ya know? With Car Talk as a second - I like to laugh while I learn. I am always amazed at how educated those two guys seem (at least they say so!)

What's your secret talent?

My ability to completely ignore housework and chaos in my home- of course I never have people over. To keep my head when all around people are losing theirs (or something like that)

What song is stuck in your head right now, you know, a music wedgie?

Mr. Blue Sky - Walking down the avenue - choo choo (it doesn't say choo choo, that's me emulating some musical instrument)

What sound is most characteristic of where you live?

The roar of motorcycles and the voices of the people(sometimes if one actually goes to the ocean, the sound of the waves might come through the din)

What's your favorite sound memory?

Camping out and listening to the sounds of the bugs and owls while waiting for lightening bugs to show up!
