Bio: An accidental computer geek who's just quit his job to go back to school for journalism. A tall, skinny, food lover who tries to remember to take time out of the day to eat the roses. A book reader, a games player, a married man who loves to cook and a cooking man who loved getting married, all in one.
What's your favorite public radio show?: I adore This American Life, but that hardly seems a distinguishing characteristic on this site. My first radio love was "Saturday Morning By Request," an all-request classical music show on a rural FM station in Wisconsin, where I grew up.
What's your secret talent?: I have matching freckles on my feet.
What song is stuck in your head right now, you know, a music wedgie?: "New Routine," on the most recent album by "Fountains of Wayne." Pure pop and better for it; it's like getting soda made with sugar rather than corn syrup.
What sound is most characteristic of where you live?: The frogs in the pond produce a cacophany every night.
