Bio: My dream about 20 years ago was to go into broadcasting of some sort, so I received my degree in Mass Comm - radio and tv production. Then I went on to work some radio and tv VO's and wrote some commericals. I performed in dinner theater and had a good singing group too. All in all I love making people happy and passing along info that make us all think!
What's your favorite public radio show?: All things Considered.....controversial and never boring!
What's your secret talent?: My secret talent? That's an easy one...giving people support and helping them through life's crises. You say an enabler? No. Just a good person who loves to help out to see the end result...a smile.
What sound is most characteristic of where you live?: IF I open the windows, my neighbor's air conditioning unit. Living in Florida, it's a common thing most of the year! Other than that, birds singing their chirpy lil tunes!
What's your favorite sound memory?: My Dad's voice calling me Laney as as a little girl. He passed away a while ago and I miss talking to him. He always had a way of giving me good logical advice, making me feelthat all was ok with the world. That's important to a little girl.
