Bio: Truly I am just a person who is interested in life. I don't always understand it, but am never bored by it. That's basically why I listen to NPR so much. It gives me my fix of interesting things. I am a broadcast school graduate/former teacher/father/music lover.
What's your favorite public radio show?: I definitely love Fresh Air, but am also partial to the local stuff at Chicago Public Radio, like Eight Forty-Eight. Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me probably tops them all, though.
What's your secret talent?: I can remember numbers very well. Should have become a professional gambler I guess. The draw of radio was just too strong, though.
What song is stuck in your head right now, you know, a music wedgie?: Smile by Lily Allen. I don't want to like it but I do.
What sound is most characteristic of where you live?: Lots of car noises.
What's your favorite sound memory?: Freight trains going through the small town I grew up in.
