Bio: Currently I am a radio major at Columbia College Chicago, prior to this I have been working as a massage therapist for the past 4 years....my interests are endless hence my interest in public radio. An excellent home for a diverse listening education.
What's your favorite public radio show?: When I lived in Los Angeles, I started every day with Morning becomes Eclectic w/ NIc Harcourt. Doesn't everyone out there? Now in Chicago I listen to eight-forty-eight. And also try to catch Fresh-Air and/or Worldview. Well, I guess I can't pick just one favorite.
What's your secret talent?: I try not to keep talents a secret.
What song is stuck in your head right now, you know, a music wedgie?: "Foto Viva" by Mo Horizons....its a loungey feel with spanish lyrics.
What sound is most characteristic of where you live?: Bass thumping from the salon downstairs peppered by car traffic on the street at night. Then, a morning song of drills and other tool noises from the car junkyard/workshop next door...it's an industrial type neighborhood.
What's your favorite sound memory?: Camping outside- nighttime next to a waterfall with barely a whisper from the bugs and critters around.
