I entered this contest to bring more of You to You. I run the Aspire Network and the new media channels to bring you new music and help advertisers expose the Black community in its true form through art (in many forms)that honestly represents the culture. That model is now used by the many social networks of many communities.

Having grown up watching black and white TV and the Public Broadcasting System I've noticed the changes in the picture media paints for its audiences in the entertainment it selects. In a nutshell, I no longer agree with it, so I use Aspire to present the portraits of our communities everywhere from local live shows to clips of those shows shown online worldwide!

I have a background in business technology and software. Since 2002 I and a few other folks have used our experience from Corporate America to build a network where artists and businesses could flourish and contribute to their communities.

We created Aspire Digital Networks as a public utility connecting online sites, text messaging, and live shows as a effective channels in and between communities and its resident in the hood and worldwide.

Ultimately, I want to use these channels of communication in working together to "build" solutions that solve our greatest of needs.

What's your secret talent?

I can learn any software or digital technolgy in an uncanny amount of time.

What song is stuck in your head right now, you know, a music wedgie?

It's a toss up between Yeah We Know by The Primeridian and All N2U by Mauri Sevier.

What sound is most characteristic of where you live?

Silence

What's your favorite sound memory?

My mother's laugh.
