I Really hate BIO's.. Don't you.
Ugghhh...A Bio..
So, tell me about yourself ( lol). So which version do you want to hear?
The " try to impress them version"
and pin point every cute little happy, loving detail about myself. LET ME ASK YOU...
What age do I start the bio from.. Do I start the bio from when I was 5 or my current situation? That would suck... what if I were having a bad week- like my husband left me and I was fired. Would I say I am separated.. and currently unemployed.. or would I polish myself and talk about my wonderful accomplishments.
Am I brutally honest or am I polished.
I prefer to tell the truth.. and a matter of fact you can to a certain degree on the RADIO.. you can exhume your personality and your current mood. Unless your david allen boucher and your goal is to calmly give us the time and weather forecast, along with some Luther vandrose...People actually want to hear the truth, how is it that radio and TV are so alike-- yet so different. The character you play on radio, is so much more like your real self... why would anyone want the spotlight like TV.. ewww.. how self centered.
I work Part- time at UMass Boston and get this, I get paid less than a graduate assistant, yet- they work for me..( lol)
I am also a student, so my FASFA application says I am.
Yes- I enrolled in 2 classes back in Jan. and then dropped them when I found out we were having a child. I just didn't want to deal with sitting in a tiny cold chair that my butt couldn't fit in, and debate with students while I was hormonal...
Another thing I could say is that I am a wife; and although I have been married almost 5 years, I will never forget the day last winter when I called my girlfriend and said" I just realized I am married, why didn't you tell me?"
I am sure I am other things to other people ( a sister, a friend, a daughter).
But the question is what am I to myself?
I know for one I'm an addict...
I have addictive behaviors... when I find something that I love, I obsess about it, I am all over it. I cannot say I actually like that about myself-- but it is who I am-- it is part of my BIO- part of my personality... One thing I do know is I love to talk.. and talk and talk.. and I love to tell stories, and I love to be comical.

What's your favorite public radio show?

I am checking out all of the shows on NPR and will get back to you on that.

What's your secret talent?

My secret talent... If you have continued to make it this far, and read on after my long bio then you already know my secret talent.. I am contagious..
I am not saying this-( bragging). I am saying this as a possible problem as well..
It can become a problem you know.. Not to the level of stalking - but if you ask my husband he will tell you.. about 2 years ago- I was never around- or available.. You didn't even know I was married- I was at every event, function, coffee shop, dinner invite, friends house-doing what you ask.. talking,talking and more talking. To the wee hours of the morning- and believe me - with coffee in hand( that was it).
As my mother would say GABBING.. if I was not talking I was on the phone gabbing for hours on end. And I cannot even remember what I was talking about, but I know I wasted many of hours, days, nights, months, and now years talking.. When really I should have settled down and got my damn degree here at UMass..

BIRDS... CHIRPING AWAY.. all day long!!

What's your favorite sound memory?

favorite sound.... wow this is a tough one.
When I am waiting for a concert to start- and all of a sudden the music starts ( or artist sings) and the crowd goes wild. I love that sound.

Which station do you listen to most?

kiss 108 in the morning- it is my longest commute.
