Bio: Formerly a student, banker, commercial radio creative-production-continuity director and "air personality" (oxymoron!), I am currently a father, a "band parent," a twenty-year teacher of English, a lifelong blood donor, a five-year volunteer newspaper reader for the blind, a raconteur, a philonoist, a hippopotomonstrosesquipedalianist, and a writer of too-long sentences.
What's your favorite public radio show?: Morning Edition, with All Things Considered as a close second favorite: I'm hungrier in the morning than I am in the afternoon.
What's your secret talent?: I win at Bingo. Scarily....

What sound is most characteristic of where you live?: Airplanes: I live across an expressway from an airport.
