State: DE
Bio: I was born in Stoughton, Massachusetts. When I was nine, I was uprooted to Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and when I was eleven I was again displaced--this time to Newark, Delaware. I went to the University of Delaware and majored in philosophy, with a minor in English. Now, I work at a non-profit publishing company--writing, editing, proofreading, and a little bit of everything else. My dream is to return to Massachusetts with enough money to start a life for myself--but money trickles in when what I need is a nice steady stream.
What's your favorite public radio show?: "Wait, Wait...Don't Tell Me" on the weekend. "Marketplace" during the week.
What's your secret talent?: All my talents are public--except for a couple--and decency prevents me from sharing them.
What song is stuck in your head right now, you know, a music wedgie?: Matisyahu--"King Without a Crown"
What sound is most characteristic of where you live?: Cars, cars, and more cars--I'm in the suburbs.
What's your favorite sound memory?: The rap by Vanilla Ice at the end of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2--at nine years old it used to get me so hyped.
