Bio: I grew up in the Twin Cities, and I now live in Philadelphia, so I've definitely been drinking whatever they put in Garrison and Terry's water.
What's your favorite public radio show?: "Good Food" with Evan Kleinman

What's your secret talent?: I was once a successor to Miss America. Admittedly, this was at a desk job, but I do know how to wave like I'm wearing a tiara and a sash. There's actually a prescribed method, and it's more complicated than it looks.
What song is stuck in your head right now, you know, a music wedgie?: Jonathan Coulton's "First of May"
What sound is most characteristic of where you live?: The sound of horse-drawn carriages traveling over the cobblestones of the Old City neighborhood in Philadelphia. (Pity this is radio, as they also impart their own distinct aroma.)
What's your favorite sound memory?: The feeling of being inside the music that comes from singing with an a cappella group. Especially early music -- it's tough to top 16th-century surround sound.
Which station do you listen to most?: WHYY and KCRW
