What sound is most characteristic of where you live?: Fire truck-ambulance sirens. I live next to a Firehouse.
What's your favorite sound memory?: Sitting in Grand Stand 21 at Le Circuit De Gilles Villenueve, Ille De Notre Dame,as the field of 26 Formula One cars comes ripping down the back straight and brakes for the hairpin,(the cars are about 10 ft from you at this point,are doing about 160 mph, and making approximately 120 db), then accelerates up the front straight and goes haring off into the distance,gradually fading out of earshot.
