I'm an actor, voice-over, writer (sort of), and humorist...that's a vague word I like to use because I've never done stand-up, but I've done improv, and I've never written a comedy, but I write comedy bits...I have no idea. I'm just glad you stopped by to learn about me and I hope I made you laugh.

What's your favorite public radio show?

It's a tie between "A Prarie Home Companion" and "This American Life." It has been a life long dream of mine to perform with Garrison's radio drama actors. I also really enjoy the live aspect of Garrison's show and I don't think there is a better storyteller alive today. Then Ira has such flare and wit and it's hard to come across something more engaging than a TAL show.

What's your secret talent?

I can sing like a soprano.

What song is stuck in your head right now, you know, a music wedgie?

Dolly Parton's "Joshua" from the "Joshua." So I'm obsessed with my name...what's wrong with that.

What sound is most characteristic of where you live?

Fire Engines, Wind, and the rumble of the city...would you believe I have an in-home V.O. studio and I live next to a fire station and a freeway!?! Brilliant choice in real estate there...

What's your favorite sound memory?

When my father used to sit me on his lap and we would listen to "The Three Tenor's" CD's. He was also the one who introduced me to my favorite NPR show "Prairie Home Companion" because we would spend time together on Saturdays and he would always tune in while we were driving around. His other favorite was "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me." He is the reason I guess I appreciate NPR so much.
