What's your favorite public radio show?: This American Life, Fresh Air, and Life 360, love all three.
What's your secret talent?: I'm a freakishly good judge of character. but, I pretty much find something to like in everyone. Now, that's a talent.
What song is stuck in your head right now, you know, a music wedgie?: Promises, by Badly Drawn Boy.
What sound is most characteristic of where you live?: the scratching of a little dog picking up dry dog food, and cats hissing at each other.
What's your favorite sound memory?: my little sister Jane, who died in a car accident used to say "Apull" over and over again when she was a baby, when she was asking for an apple. I'm glad i still hear it in my head.
Which station do you listen to most?: the local public radio stations 88.5 and the XM public radio now that the other public radio station has gone all classical.
