Bio: I am John Kutsch
I live in Harvard in an 1889 Firestation
with my wife who is a teacher.
I am a machine designer and a college teacher and I restore old buildings.
I have run for office - lost
But I believe in America and I want to show America what they are missing in the great middle of the country.
NPR is the only place I could do that - I hope I can.
What's your favorite public radio show?: I love radio lab when available, I love Norm McDonald at noon in Chicago. On the Media is Fab.
This American life of course is in my head since it was the WildRoom.
And I listen 18 hours a day from around the country like Morning becomes Eclectic
What's your secret talent?: Drinking a glass of beer with no hands - you ought to see it - quite shocking
What song is stuck in your head right now, you know, a music wedgie?: I call em worms .. but.
My wife been yodeling "Nobody but you" by Jewel for days now and that keeps going even when she's not here
What sound is most characteristic of where you live?: The sound of the propane heater starting in winter.
The folks buying groceries next door with their loud cars.
What's your favorite sound memory?: Waking up to a huge racket when we were camping on our new farm before we had a trailer.
It was a million birds around us and an escaped cow and a pack of coyotes.
