Bio: I'm originally from Germany where I worked in radio for two years. I moved to the USA in 1992, went to Temple U, and ended up working for WHYY in 1997. Haven't left since.
What's your secret talent?: listening, and asking too many questions. Oh, that's not so secret.
What song is stuck in your head right now, you know, a music wedgie?: I just can't get enough, I just can't get enough...
What sound is most characteristic of where you live?: sadly, the ambulance.
What's your favorite sound memory?: when I first moved to Philly from Germany, I wasn't familiar with the Mr. Softie truck. I would hear the truck with its music, and work it into the sound track of a TV show that I was watching, or anything else. And then I would think, oh, it's that ice cream truck again...
