Bio: Stasia DeMarco manages to keep her public radio sensibilities sharp and current even as she works regularly with a commercial station and tries
her hand at various web-based productions. From producing commercial station KYW's on-demand podcast to creating audio stories for the web-based magazine Dragonfire to teaching Audio Production at Drexel University, Stasia demonstrates how our audio skills
can mesh with the media of the present and, likely, the future. Based in Philadelphia, Stasia got her radio start at KBOO in Portland, Oregon while in grad school.

What's your secret talent?: I have a wonderful talent that makes people say or admit to just about anything.
What song is stuck in your head right now, you know, a music wedgie?: Leo Sayer's You Make Me Feel Like Dancing.
What sound is most characteristic of where you live?: Police and Fire Sirens!
What's your favorite sound memory?: Ann Garrels spealing to Frank Stasio from Baghdad during the 1st weekend of the war in March of 20003.
