Bio: Hey there,
I'm the one with the droll witt adding swords into the respectable Talent Quest. OY! I apologize now but it comes from having lived in Philly. Got teased in school for getting those A's in Literature. HA! Now, I work for a public radio station in Miami, FL and loving life. My dream: to help change the world, one story at a time. That's why I am such an NPR junkie
What's your favorite public radio show?: Right now, it's gotta go to Wait, Wait but in all honesty, Fresh Air was my first love way back in High School. Of course, my new show for NPR comes first - you'd love it too but I didn't win yet!
What's your secret talent?: Shhh...Don't tell...I'm a fabulous cook. Oh, it's so girly but I am. Love food, love cooking, love sharing the cooking!
What song is stuck in your head right now, you know, a music wedgie?: You asked for it..."The night they invented champagne..." Don't ask!
What sound is most characteristic of where you live?: HHOOOONNNKKK! HHOOONNKKKK! HONNNKKKK! Yes, that's right Miami is the #1 place with the rudest drivers.
What's your favorite sound memory?: In 2002, I went to Beijing and visited the Great Wall. That day was magical and as I stood there a gentle, warm breeze caressed the trees and whistled to all of us walking about...I've never forgotten that sound, so peaceful. It was magic.
