I am a college radio DJ at KUCR-Riverside. Currently I am producing the show from my home in Phoenix.

I have a BS in ecology and environmental science, and working on a MA in dance history and theory, and have been accepted to a MPA program (that's public administration).

What's your favorite public radio show?

Marketplace, On the Media, Free Speech Radio News, CounterSpin, Democracy Now!

My favorite non-radio podcast is Addicted to Race (discusses race & gender issues in America, mixed race identity, and interracial relationships).

What's your secret talent?

I have been a competitive Irish dancer since 1992. I am finishing my MA thesis on that topic.

What sound is most characteristic of where you live?

I don't know what is characteristic of Phoenix or Los Angeles... mostly anything.. but I care most for twee, girlie pop, kind of that mid 90s pacific northwest girl sound.

Which station do you listen to most?

In Phoenix, of course KJZZ-Phoenix. In Los Angeles it is a toss up between my station (KUCR-Riverside, College Station), KPCC (Pasadena NPR) and KPFK (Pacifica).
