My mother put me into dance classes at the age of 3 1/2 to give me an outlet for all my energy. I've been dancing ever since. Gardening became a prominent part of my life about 10 years ago, fitting hand in hand with a vegetarian lifestyle. This dancing granola-head has gone on to become the Gardenerd, outfitted with boundless bits of useless and useful trivia for your listening pleasure.

What's your favorite public radio show?

The Splendid Table has my vote. Anything about food, cooking and vegetables ropes me in easily.

What's your secret talent?

I can wiggle my nose/mouth like a bunny.

Oh come on, like I'm gonna say Kiis FM (which I don't listen to at all, BTW). KPCC seems to be on a lot.
