Bio: Now I'm an independent producer, instructional design consultant and voiceover artist. Before that I was a dress salesman, an actor and an interrogator. I've also been a DJ at jazz stations KSDS in San Diego and KCSM in San Francisco. And I co-wrote and and co-produced a series of radio comedy programs called The Cabinet of Dr. Marconi with Erik Villesvik, aka Rik Dean. I can trace my lineage all the way back to the first single-cell organism.
What's your favorite public radio show?: I can't say I have one favorite public radio show. It's tie between KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic, KFJC's The Norman Bates Memorial Soundtrack Show, the various incarnations of Joe Frank and This American Life.
What song is stuck in your head right now, you know, a music wedgie?: Cold Wind from Valhalla by Jethro Tull
What sound is most characteristic of where you live?: The "L" and the wind.
What's your favorite sound memory?: My brother playing Bach's Italian Concerto.
Which station do you listen to most?: KCRW/KFJC/KCSM/WBEZ
