Bio: Born in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, I moved to the US in 1998. I have lived in the Midwest since where I have been producing podcasts. First as a way to stay in touch with music when keeping a band together no longer seemed possible and later as an outlet for my opinion. This year I started producing a podcast for the Tulsa Police Department. It can be found at: http://www.tpdpodcast.com
What's your favorite public radio show?: Fresh Air, because the interviews are ALWAYS so good. But when I need a laugh, I "crank up" Car Talk.
What's your secret talent?: I have a bird that can whistle the Andy Griffith tune...
What song is stuck in your head right now, you know, a music wedgie?: There she goes - Brother Love
What sound is most characteristic of where you live?: Wind
What's your favorite sound memory?: The bells on the street cars (tram) in Amsterdam, although I am glad to no longer live in the downtown of that city, that particular sound defines my youth. An inner-city kid surrounded by high brown stones and public transportation.
Which station do you listen to most?: Whichever NPR affiliate my car stereo picks up.
