What's your favorite public radio show?

This American Life. This show is one of the most amazing treats I have encountered in my life. I look forward to it weekly and I horde old episodes like a maniac. I'm also always telling other people to listen to it.

What's your secret talent?

I can write bad poetry. In fact recently I tried my hand at some bad Victorian poetry (for an audio drama), and I'm pleased with the results...

What song is stuck in your head right now, you know, a music wedgie?

Something to Sing About - Sarah Michelle Gellar
Yet, I have a default song whenever this happens to an annoying degree (I always have a tune playing in there, it's just a matter if I want it there or not). The default song is one you can sing in your head to boot out the current offender. It works really well with the right song. My default song? Cruel by Thomas Dolby

What sound is most characteristic of where you live?

Although I know this is a common bird for most of the US, this sound makes me think of being outside in the fields at the base of the foothills.
