Bio

Clarence Reynolds has built a career as an entrepreneur and broadcast professional through a number of innovative and groundbreaking ventures.

A native of Detroit, Michigan, Clarence graduated from American University in Washington, D.C., with a Bachelor of Arts degree in public communication, and then opened a retail bakery that he operated for two years. After selling Rosemary’s Cookies, Clarence was hired as one of the original hosts on the cable-shopping channel QVC.

Clarence became sought after as a regular guest on nationally syndicated talk radio and television shows for his insights in consumerism and product reviews. That exposure led to Clarence being named executive producer of BET Shop, the country’s first live, nationally televised, weekly shopping-oriented program for African Americans, which aired on Black Entertainment Television (BET). He successfully led the strategic planning, merchandising, and production responsibilities of this start-up venture.

Clarence earned a Master of Science degree in psychology from Troy State University, and used that training to produce four award-winning public affairs programs for PBS affiliates in Orlando, Florida and Indianapolis, Indiana. He also worked as Co-Host of "Ask the Family Therapist" on cable's America's Health Network (now The Health Network).

As a journalist, Clarence has anchored in the NBC and FOX news operations of affiliates in Atlanta and Indianapolis. He has also served as senior correspondent for a nationally syndicated PBS show.
