I would call myself a "jack of all trades," but I am driven by the desire to master them all- HA! I was born and raised in New Jersey, which accounts for the subtle accent that can be heard on my audio clip in words such as "cawlahs" (callers) as affectionately noted by a friend. Aside from accent, I'd like to think I embody the best of New Jersey. I'm a very outgoing, outspoken and artistic young person. I'm an artist, writer, "idea lady" and someone that draws seekers of advice like men to a short skirt.

What's your favorite public radio show?

My favorite public radio show would have to be "This American life" and " Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me" for my insatiable hunger for testing my own trivial knowledge and cultural literacies.

What's your secret talent?

My secret talent would have to be a very strange skill that I happened upon by accident once upon a time in high school. Chalk it up to intuition or being a voyeur but I correctly guessed the sleeping position of an entire class of students. That particular teacher still mentions that "talent" to this day when I return to make visits.

beeping car horns and third-gear transmission acceleration noises

What's your favorite sound memory?

Hearing for the first time, a song written for me by the love of my life. Ladies, gents, until it happens to you, one cannot convey the swelling of emotion that courses through the body upon hearing something created for you. Everyone deserves one, it feels so warm and wonderful.

NPR NY, NJ and 106.3 for music
