Bio: Upon graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering, Kevin Fullam’s logical career progression has led him to stints as a political speechwriter, pro sports analyst, and indie-rock DJ. He currently hosts the bi-weekly radio show Under Surveillance on Chicago’s WLUW that covers popular culture and politics. And he enjoys general rabble-rousing and speaking in the third person.
What's your favorite public radio show?: Fresh Air! Unlike zombies, I enjoy picking brains instead of eating them. And who could forget those run-ins with Thomas Sowell and Gene Simmons?
What's your secret talent?: I have an uncanny ability to remember fictional conversations.
What song is stuck in your head right now, you know, a music wedgie?: Eleni Mandell's "Afternoon," particularly after seeing her last night at Schuba's.
What sound is most characteristic of where you live?: The waves of Lake Michigan? They're right outside my window.
